Visited my friend Anubhav in the evening. Original plan was to have a cup tea, chit chat, discuss about SpeakAsia( talk of the town nowadays) and leave. But the plan went for a toss when we started watching the England-Ireland game. What a match I must say. I continuously stood in the common TV room( there was no other arrangement as I went to my friend's hostel) for at least an hour. the match was so gripping i gave some hard time to my bladder :).
Few thoughts which were running through my head :-
- Ireland has definitively lost it. Now chance for such minnows to beat biggies like England.
- Is it really happening??
- Dhoni are you watching TV now? Because India is next to play Ireland on 6th March.
- LOST !!! LOST !!! Definitely LOST !!! WONNNNNNNN!!!!!!!! :)
Whatever may be the case, Ireland finally won and the negativity which was there in my mind simplty evaporated. It was not an important match as such but it really taught me many lessons. I hope I learn something from them.
BTW India watch out, Irish are not the underdogs any more. :)
